Back at the farm
At long, long last. Two plane journeys;, over 23 hours of flying, a playful 12 hour delay in Malaysia, two trains, a car journey and we’re here. I am so excited to be back.
And Artur didn’t even throw a hissy fit about my absence; I went up to the potting shed and there he was on his favourite blanket snoozing. He ambled down from the top shelf and then happily climbed onto my lap for a purr and a drool (hope that’s not a permanent feature) and a cuddle.
Lucky me.
Now it’s on with the measuring of the rain gauge.
We have had a whopping three inches of rain somewhere during the absence. And judging my Andrew’s emails, just this past week. Great for the bulbs which are all pushing up. I can’t wait to do a proper lap around the garden and a close inspection.
I just have to wait until it gets light first. Jet lag has me up a tad early today.
