Raspberry rehab

This was something I did yesterday (or was it the day before?) We have lost our internet power due to a thunderstorm, so things are a bit out of kilter.

The raspberries are a disaster. Neglect basically.  And lack of water chiefly.

So I spent a good morning weeding like mad and then covering the entire bed with a huge amount of home made mulch.

Next up I hauled and hauled the huge hose right up to the bed and watered each cane lavishly.

And to finish, a huge layer of grass cutting mulch.  Tucked up in bed.
