Explosively orange and pink

market flowersNo time for gardening today. Unless you call squishing a few bugs off the cabbage and picking flowers proper gardening.

I’m Her Indoors for a few more days yet.

But I have made up my six bunches of flowers for the market today.

And boy is it a bright display. All mad oranges and girlie pinks.

The pinks are for Manou who doesn’t really do orange bouquets; even though she wears clothing that is about as electric as my zinnias and rudbeckias.

And the other pink is for Christine who is allergic to marguerites.  Fussy, fussy.  orange colours

Lydia, Isabelle, Sylvine and Cristelle are thrilled with any flowers I bring them, so they are easy to please.

I won’t be able to stay long tomorrow. Maybe a quick hot chocolate if I can get all my chores done. And then I shall scuttle back here to the film project.

It’s such a shame as it’s glorious weather out there. I look longingly out my window and sigh.
