Storms

Well I had thought I would be reading a novel by candlelight tonight; we have been having the most rumbling thunder storm since 4pm.  And then lightning, and then hail, rain and all sorts of fun and games.

I finished the basement, opened up the pool (it’s a touch green) with the help of Mr P, and then as it was too wet to weed I cleaned the guest house.

And all the while I stared vainly at the plants wishing I could split myself in two and have a planting and strimming day.

But if all goes well I can get on with weeding the lavender bank tomorrow.
