One day to go

The courtyard is almost complete. The rill is built, the planters are back in place. All I need to do is one final coat of Farrow and Ball Downpipe on all the pots.  There are eight. And four more to do which I just can’t face right now.

That’s because I won’t be able to paint them without realising there is a monstrous weed colony around them with vicious brambles growing out of the rocks. They will probably try to strangle me if I get too close. Revenge for their brothers I decapitated up in the forest yesterday.

I wanted to take a picture of our rather handsome rill. But there were snaking hoses all over the place. Not the chic look one hopes for. So you will have to wait one more day.
