Floral magic

You prune your roses in autumn, save a few of the choice cuttings, stick them in the ground in the soft fruit orchard where water just might be wafted over them in the summer.  And come the next spring or in this case the one after. And up come roses.

The magic of propagation never ceases to amaze and delight. And getting a stonking rose for free. Well, that is priceless.
