A start

I’ve penetrated the thicket of plants that is the lower potager and made a start.

All afternoon I have diligently pulled dead sunflower stalks, uprooted dead cosmos plants and generally reduced the verticals in the potager to zero.

Five trips to the compost heap beyond the duck pond and I’m done.

Well, I actually have one more trip to go; but I couldn’t pull the last sunflowers in the quadrant where the aubergines and tomatoes live.   Birds were still feasting on the seeds.   So if all goes well, they will be uprooted tomorrow.

As soon as I have driven down to the company who sold me the chipper.   It also needs to go to the repairers. Goodness, so many machines in one month needing repairs.
