A spot of then and now: 1971 and 2013

Months later than I planned; but here it is.  Shots of our farmhouse when it was purchased by the Van Oorts in 1971 and the current pictures in the same location in 2013.

At lot has happened in 42 years. But I like to think that the feeling of the farmhouse hasn’t changed.

The biggest changes are to the front of the house.  The Reinhardts added the terrace on the front which changed the orientation of the living areas of the house.

And we added the giant window to bring more of the outside in.
