October flower bouquets
I need to give you these before I embark on another story about dirt this week.
So here are some sumptuous blooms.
And I do wonder if I will ever have so many amazing flowers this late in the year ever again.
It’s such a shame that it was tipping with rain for the Thursday market.
There are so many flowers in the garden that I have even barely bothered with filler foliage.
Just some viburnum tinus greens to break up the rich flower fests.
And as it was wet I actually came back with flowers. So that meant a quick walk around the mountain to deliver to neighbours.
This one was my favourite all month.
Fluffy grasses, tall crimson dahlias, sedums galore…
Ooh that reminds me. A sneak preview….
But more on that later.

Absolutely gorgeous! My own favourite is the bouquet in the banner picture. I haven’t commented for a while – no time to even read your recent posts but I’ll be catching up next week, so expect an avalanche of comments from me. I’m spending a bit of time in the UK after a long gap, getting back to France this week-end and looking forward to seeing my garden again. Such mixed feelings about life in England.

I look forward to your comments! (the glycerine experiment is working, by the way)
Life in England….. you are very diplomatic about the phrase ‘mixed feelings’. That is how I feel every time I go there. Bonkers politics – 4 Chancellors, 3 Home Secretaries, 2 Prime Ministers and even 2 Monarchs in the space of four months…
