Monster beans

That will teach me: I forgot to check the runner beans on Thursday night, and now it’s Saturday night and I have some monsters.

They will still be delicious if I cook them with plenty of garlic and fresh herbs.  But it’s a reminder that tomorrow I must spend time in the potager.  These were the beans I just glimpsed as I was picking cabbage for dinner.
