A return to the Ardèche
That will teach me: writing the word ‘home’ on the post before last meant that my blogpost’s instructions were just that. Silly me. It kept returning to the home page of my gardening blog. I won’t do that again.
You didn’t miss much. But the dusk shots I took when I arrived on Wednesday night were fetching.
And now I’m back home on the mountain top.
And yes it has snowed. And it’s cold (-3C). But I was so excited to drive up to the farm. (After I had negotiated the tricky skiddy turn up to the letterboxes.)
I have brought a stinking cold with me (airplane germs) but nothing will deter me.
Tomorrow I will be up and out with my camera (and hat and gloves and new Meindl boots and lots of layers) to record the changes.

Welcome, belated, home Lindy.
There’s something so enigmatic about these shots of the farm that don’t include any sign of it being 2017-I look at them and can easily imagine it’s the 17th century and the missus of the house is about to step out and do her winter gardening.

Thank you Sarah. I do so love the ‘France profonde’ thing about this farm. It’s the middle of nowhere. Deeply rural. But connected. Perfect.
