Winter work
There you are!
I bet some of you wondered if I had been fetched off by a tractor. Or a hunter.
It has been quite a time. One month in London on things medical. And one glorious week in Rome.
You can guess which I am going to write about.
Luckily the London parks offer some respite from the frenzy..
But for now here is the small job I did when I nipped back for five days.
Mowing. Attacking the rampant growth of the lawns.
Everything is fluffy and hasn’t slowed.
Nature didn’t get the memo that it’s meant to be chilly. The colours on the oaks are glorious, mind you.
I did get to cut back some of the dahlia foliage in the potager.
I have cleared some of the beds. But leeks, cabbage, kale and herbs are still powering on.
Hopefully this cold snap this week will let me get on with what I planned.
Cold snap? Just cold winter weather!
Bring it on.
