Symbols of spring

Now this is what I call spring; out with the dried grasses and hydrangeas that have been in the huge vase in the entry hall all winter.  And in with the cherry blossom.

It’s my way of pruning some of the self sown wild cherries that we have in abundance here. It sure beats having to buy cut flowers.

Soon we will have the cow parsley and the mock orange branches.  But for now, I’m delighted with my weeds.
