Gardening, of sorts
It beats quarrying, but this time it was dragging. I swear, one day I’m going to do real up close and personal plant stuff, rather than this mighty landscaping and lugging.
These are some of the ‘bunches’ of greenery that I dragged down the mountain this afternoon. The branches from the felled chestnut trees.
And I had to carefully pick my way over the huge pile of logs in the main path as I dragged. But I wasn’t going to risk putting out my back trying to lift the huge logs on my own.
Three trips up and down the mountain, and I have a lovely juicy pile of branches ready for chipping. But I purposely left my blue sacks up in the forest to pick up some more sticks; I have a huge area of the shade garden to cover in mulch.
