Double duty

Nothing like multi tasking. I was walking up the walnut path and noticed that the oak tree branches were hanging over the path in such a way as to thwack one in the face if one weren’t paying close attention.

The walnut branches do the same.

But luckily I had my quick draw secateurs in my back pocket.  So I cut back the offending branches and thought; hmmm.

No point feeding the compost bin or the chipper with these handsome branches.

So they are decorating the huge vase at the front door.

And the hallway vase. Result.
