An anniversary

limoges porcelaineToday would have been Archie’s 90th birthday. And I should have been in Sydney celebrating with the family. Instead I had a very early morning four hour round trip drive to Lyon airport.

Perfect contemplation time for remembering so many wonderful things about our dad.

And making me yearn for a cup of tea on my return. I’m toasting his birthday with a newly found Limoges teacup. And I will take it very carefully up to the potting shed (it’s blowing a gale) and sit with Artur in the potting shed; getting covered in grubby paw prints, cat hair and minor drool. I think Arch would appreciate the gesture.
