What, sedums again?

regents sedumsI am so fortunate to live in a part of London that allows me some very green and scenic walks to distract me when I do my not so glamourous errands to the shops.

I always enjoy walking through Primrose Hill and Regent’s Park; particularly making a detour through the flower borders to see how the plants are faring.

And you may notice that my eye is always drawn to the sedum border.  A bit floppy with all that extravagant watering – from hose pipe or rainfall I don’t know – but it is a good and attractive combination.

The ‘hot borders’ further down the garden are a ghastly clash of yellow and orange that haves one yearning to lie down in a darkened room.  But the tourists are forever posing in front of the displays. And as one learns in gardening – everyone’s tastes are different but equally valid.
