The sowing season begins
Rows and rows of neatly sown seeds. Happiness indeed.
I could list everything I sowed today, but that woudl require me rummaging about my seed packets and actually looking things up.
Needless to say I have sown all the vegetables and flowers that I hope to to see in my potager in the next few weeks.
Cabbages, calabrese, kale, lettuce, chards, spinach. Rudbeckias, tithonias, gaura, goodness I sowed a lot.
And I had a little snoozing companion who didn’t require much attention. He has a new box. I lined it with a fleece and then put on the manky dish cloth that has become his favourite blanket of late.
No accounting for taste.
I did have to lean across him to put the seed trays on the benches and that woke him up. I recieved a glare through half closed lids, but that was about it. I guess it’s like having a cranky teenager in the house. Except that Artur is more in the age bracket of OAP.
