Still pleased

One day on and I am still delighted with all the weeding work.  This will never be an immaculately tidy garden, but at least it looks orderly.

And I have come up with a solution for the big blank bit in front of the cistus on the top slope; sedums. I have almost ten little plants and there aren’t enough for a drift. So a block of green and later pink (they are Autumn Joys) will do nicely.

But do I have time to plant up? No. And it’s too hot anyway. I’ll wait for the cooler weather that is predicted on the weekend for that sort of thing.

No. Today is heavy lifting day.
