Sedum September

sedum dryingI can’t help myself. Everytime I come back to the house I seem to have another armful of sedums.

I’m trying them out in all sorts of vases.

Some are drying, some are in water, the entire office is littered with blooms.

It has been a glorious September for sedums. Usually the Autumn Joy (Herbstfreude) have just a week or so of glory. But they have been marvellous for three weeks this time.  I would love to capture this pink and keep it forever.

Hence the attempt at drying them. Tomorrow I have lots of garden news. But I managed to get a rosa rugosa thorn dead centre in my middle finger and typing is devilish. Painful in fact. So a medicinal whisky and hopefully it will be easier tomorrow.
