Runcible spoon time

My pre breakfast task.   I’ve turned into a quince factory. Pickling and poaching. And it’s great fun.

The poached quinces still have half an hour at least to go.   But the pickled ones are already in their jars.

I ran out of vinegar, so will have to wait until Tuesday before I do my next batch.

But I think this is going to be my christmas gift par excellence. Peeling and coring is laborious as they are so hard, but the results are spectacular.
