Good weather for ducks

And coal tits.   These are our resident birds: coat tits. Or messanges. And they are madly feeding on sunflower seeds.

They don’t seem to mind the freezing rain or heavy wind.   We’ve been confined indoors (sorting seeds for next year, getting the thyme off the stalks, doing the last of the lavender) and can only watch the antics of the birds from the warmth of the living room.

At least it didn’t snow.   But we shall see what tonight brings.
