Forgiven

tray snoozingWell that only took three days. Artur has forgiven me. Or flipped a switch in his brain that means he is now my friend again.

Or he just got bored scratching at me and pouting and hiding.

He is now officially back In The Potting Shed. And snoozing in the tray of soil on the potting shed table.

And he did eschew the four lovely cashmere lined wine boxes I have dotted about among the plants. I could see him sizing things up, so I put back the grotty seed trays that live behind the door and in among the tools.

I turned my back and he was up there in a trice. Sigh. No class that cat, no class.

I meanwhile got on with the usual lovely Wednesday tasks – read the news from Sydney, pick flowers for vases, make up a veggie box for Elodie, and generally swan about.  tray contemplating

Heft work later. I need to earn my lunch.
