An apple a day

an apple a dayNever keeps Ulysse away. In case you were wondering what ever happened to my trusty steed; here he is.   He comes over to the potting shed every afternoon in search of me.   Well, if you must be honest, in search of an apple. And I oblige.

He whinnies in quite a falsetto voice which is not befitting a half arab stallion.   But I couldn’t ignore him as I was potting on.

The chinese brocolli (kai lan) are romping away. So I potted on 20 of them, and will have to get the next 20 sorted out soon.

The wind started roaring late afternoon and I think a storm is coming. Rats.   If it’s wet I won’t be able to strim; and it is going to take five days at least to get the terraces tamed.

Still there is plenty to do elsewhere. Each day I write Weed Lavenders down on my list.   But I only got so far as to place all the weeding tools in a bucket tonight.   Maybe tomorrow. Once I’ve cleaned out the second wood shed. Chinese brocolli
